Adam Fetterman is a Port St. Lucie, Florida, attorney and Democratic politician who served as the representative for District 81 of the Florida House of Representatives. January 23, 2009 )〕 Representative Fetterman was born in New Rochelle, New York, on October 16, 1970, and moved to Florida in 1973. He graduated from Palm Beach Gardens High School. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology at Brandeis University in 1992 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami Law School in 1998. He married Mindi J. Fetterman the following year in North Carolina and opened a law practice there. Some time later, he moved his family and practice back to Florida. In 2006, he became the General Counsel for the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office. In 2008, he defeated Michael DiTerlizzi after winning the August Democratic primary against Bill Ramos.〔(21st century Democrats profile )〕 Fetterman was defeated in his bid for re-election in 2010 by Gayle Harrel.
